10 steps to achieve solid foundations for your project

In my early career I worked in Civil Engineering and a key construction success criteria, "the need for solid foundations", is actually applicable to any #project. So in this video I present ten steps for you to adopt to achieve really solid Project Foundations and so give your #project the best opportunity of a successful outcome.

The 10 steps are:

1. Find your Project Owner
2. Agree the Governance Structure
3. Recite the poem 6 honest serving men
4. Agree WHAT is to be achieved
5. Write down WHY it is needed
6. A plan is essential covering WHEN, HOW and WHERE
7. Understand WHO is involved
8. Factoring in learnings from previous projects
9. Consider RAIDs
10. Finally agree this Project Definition with your Owner or Sponsor
